We've just come back from being in Chattanooga, TN and Waxhaw, NC. Both states were bloomin' green. All deciduous trees are leafed out. Gorgeous. We were treated to some BBQ, fried green tomatoes, grits and so much more while visiting. Most of all, the hospitality of the people we met was tremendous. Absolutely fine. We were even trained to speak "southern." What a hoot!
Now home, it's time to do some serious quilting, cooking and sewing. Making hamburger steaks tonight. It's daughter's birthday which we've already celebrated over the weekend. But we're going to enjoy some real comfort food tonight. Hamburger steaks done right can be downright delish.
